I can not say enough about how much Sophia has done for me and my career. I had been researching school and places to take classes when I was lucky enough to see her schooling. After talking with a few other places and having a sit down with Sophia I knew I wanted to take not only her classes but also fulfill my apprenticeship under her. In school I was able to have individual attention and a level of help that was catered to me. Sophia took time to explain basics to me and arranged the lesson plan to relate to me so that I could better understand color theory, types of skin, color matching, blades, hand tools, introduced me to some higher level skills and allowed me to shadow her with a few clients.
As her apprentice she was amazing with being able to provide me with answers to things I may have struggled on. She completely took care of me and my fears, gave me the confidence to put my best work out there and I can tell she has a genuine want for me to succeed. I appreciate all that she has done for me and recognize that not all schools or mentors take as much time as she does with her apprentices/students.
Sophia was my mentor for my apprenticeship. She is patient, kind, thorough and makes sure you’re comfortable as you learn the craftsmanship of microblading. She was there to guide me as I learned the technique of microblading. She watched me practice on latex skin and told me what I needed to practice more on. From her guidance and staying up late to practice, I finally got the technique of microblading down. She was always there to encourage me to work on models and bring in models, and told me to not to be afraid. She’s a very great person and a wonderful teacher! Six months flew by and I wish it hadn’t gone so fast.
